Flying an Electric Paramotor

Spin-up is rapid, according to Csaba Lemak and power is very good. They are able to get over 100 pounds of thrust out of the prototype and, besides the lower noise, there is essentially no difference in flying.

Most noise comes from the propeller which just like it does on the quieter gas  paramotors. That means it's about 15% or so quieter than an equivalent gas-powered machine. It will improve, too. That doesn't sound like much but can be quite significant. Remember, that comparison is with those gas models that are already quiet for their breed.

There are probably only about 20 people in the world that have enjoyed electric powered paragliding. Hopefully that will increase soon.
